BREAKING WITH TRADITION

Good morning bloggers! Merry Christmas! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Any Christmas or New Year card".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

 Set of acrylic stamps

I've failed this year in my usual tradition of using the Christmas colouring class from Kit and Clowder for my last card of the year. Just have not found the time to finish it. So I've gone with my favourite reindeer die cut instead, making a simple card using snippets of card I had left over from other projects.

I hope you've all managed to have a good Christmas, it's been different but still good. We have much to be thankful for.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

JUST MERRY CHRISTMAS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Include the word "CHRISTMAS"".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:
Embossing folders by Leonie Pujol
Dream Big and Patterns Rule

I have layered up some lovely foiled paper and a matching topper. I think this was from a set I bought from The Works. I added a little sentiment topper from my stash.

And now it's time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Hope everyone manages to enjoy themselves, somehow. Ours will be a quiet day but we will make the most of it!

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Include the word "MERRY"".

Tick Tock by Ali Edwards
Technique Tuesday
Acrylic Stamps

I used a few die cuts to make my card, adding a bluey background, and snow flakes with my white paint pen. I used Versamark ink to stamp the sentiment, adding white embossing paper. I also used this on the trees in the foreground for a snowy effect.
Looking forward to seeing your makes.

QUICK AND EASY

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Quick and easy".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Kanban Clear Acrylic Stamps

I have used a pre-printed card and simply added a "Merry Christmas" diecut. Can't get much simpler than that! I wish I could remember where I got these cards from; they came with matching envelopes and are so very pretty!
Even though my grumpy hubby won't allow us to put the decs up yet, I am so ready for the big day! We've kept present buying to one household this year so that has been easy to do, and no stress! I'm all set!

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

HAPPY 100TH SPECIAL LADY

Good morning and welcome to December! Where did that year go!
It's a new month so it's new challenge time at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge but you must use some patterned paper or card. Hazel offers a prize each month and is willing to post anywhere in the world so anyone can enter, and you can enter as many times as you like!
I have had the pleasure of making this special card for an old customer of mine. I found out by accident that this dear lady was 100 years old! Just had to make her a card. She is possibly the most interesting lady I have ever met. So much knowledge and such interesting tales to tell. Unfortunately, because of the new big C, I couldn't see her but I'm sure she celebrated as well as she could.
I have used more goodies from the HunkyDory kit that just keeps on going!
Looking forward to seeing your makes.
