EMBOSSED SNOWFLAKES

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Use embossing, wet or dry".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:
Make and Create
"Moonlight Magic"
Paper Pack
30 sheets 10 designs

I've made a card using backing paper from a freebie magazine kit, onto which I've layered a circle cut from snowflake embossed card, adding a sentiment cut from the same backing paper.

I've had a bit of a week. My son tested positive for Covid last Sunday after visiting his girlfriend in London. We put him in prison (his room) and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned.
On Tuesday, I became ill, husband followed suit on Wednesday. Both of us tested negative. On Thursday, we all tested again, ALL negative. Son's girlfriend, negative. Her brother who travelled with my son, also negative. Symptoms have been similar to a minor cold but with very bad aches and pains, especially back pain.
Feeling a bit better today but we're still awaiting my son's PCR test results, should've had them yesterday :-(
Onwards and upwards we go!

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

AURORA WOODS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "For a lady or a girl".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Hobbycraft Merry Christmas Tree
Clear Stamp

I have used another colouring I did in a Kit and Clowder class. The image is called "Aurora Woods" and is from Ching-Chou Kuik. You can find it here. I colured her in with Coics and added white gel pen for the snowy effect.
I've simply layered the image up on some backing paper rom Michele R Designs (it's beautiful soft snowflake print but you can really see that in the photo!).
I've had a wonderful week, managed to get tickets for TWO Foo Fighters concerts next year! So happy!!

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

CUTE CHRISTMAS ROBINS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "No stamp or digital image".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:
Hobbycraft Clear Stamp
Xmas21

I have used a freebie HunkyDory kit to make my card, a beautiful kit I'd forgotten I had!

I have a week off work now so hoping to get a lot of crafting done and in between, keep my daughter busy...her boyfriend has gone on holiday for two weeks so she's a bit forlorn!

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

CHRISTMAS PENGUINS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Include a penguin".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Hobbycraft
Merry Christmas Tree
Clear Stamp

I have used a colouring for my card this week, just for a change. This was a Kit and Clowder colouring class rom a while ago, and teacher, Alyce, challenged me to colour a black tree instead of the traditional green. Love how this one turned out.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

PRETTY IN BLUE

Good morning!
It's a new month so it's new challenge time at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge but you must use some patterned paper or card. Hazel offers a prize each month and is willing to post anywhere in the world so anyone can enter, and you can enter as many times as you like! This month's prize is this:

Mix & Match
"Floral Elegance"
6" x 6" Paper Pack

I have used backing paper which, coincidentely,  is from the same pack which is our prize this month (obviously not the VERY same pack, I haven't pinched a sheet!). It is a beautiful collection of papers, probably my favourite.
I used a couple of stamps which I've embossed with silver up, and finished off with a couple of butterflies and flatbacked pearl hearts.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.
