SNOWFLAKES GLISTEN

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Add a snowflake, one or more".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Dovecraft "Curiosity Corner"
6" x 6" Paper Pad

I have used backing paper from Dovecraft and attached a multilayered die cut snowflake.
I hope you're all keeping well. I'm coming to the end of my week off, absolutely dreading going back, but hey, it pays the bills!
Looking forward to seeing your makes.

WASHI CHRISTMAS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Use some washi tape".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

My Minds Eye
Wood Designer Cardstock Paper
6" x 6" pack

I have used coordinating strips of Washi tape to decorate my card, together with a "Merry Christmas"die cut. Couldn't decide if I liked the holly embellishment so haven't stuck that down yet!

Hope you're all doing okay in these strange times. I've got a week off work and the sun is shining!
Looking forward to seeing your makes.

MERRY & BRIGHT

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Non-Traditional Christmas Colours".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Love to Craft
"Let it Snow"
6" x 6" Paper Pad

I have used a snippet of purple holly patterned paper and sentiments, all from a freebie magazine kit, together with some die-cut holly leaves, finished off with a few purple gems.

Had another very busy week at work, getting slightly annoyed with how complacent people are being about Covid-19. It's very scary out there!
Highlight of the week though was delivering to a customer, who then threw a bag to me. I thought it was old medicines to destroy but it turned out to be a bag of chocolate bars!
Got one more week at work before a week off to celebrate our wedding anniversary. That will be another staycation!

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

THE RACE IS ON

Good Morning! Second post of today as I just realised this post didn't publish last week! So just making a few amendments and adding feeble excuses! I am literally worn out. I've gone from working part-time (30hours) to pretty much full-time (40+hours) because of Covid-19. Some staff are furloughed, others are just off because they can't cope with the stress. Working in a Pharmacy is NOT fun right now!
On top of all that, I lost my Dad at the end of March, natural causes, and quite honestly, I haven't dealt with losing him at all. Haven't even cried. I know it will hit me at some point, just hope I'm in a safe place when it does.
Anyway, moving on to brighter things.
It's a new month so it's new challenge time at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge but you must use some patterned paper or card. Hazel offers a prize each month and is willing to post anywhere in the world so anyone can enter, and you can enter as many times as you like! The prize this month is this:

Forever In Time
Paper Craft Collection
Watercolour Aquarelle
Perfect Prints
6" x 6" paper pad

I have been kept extra busy by my neighbours, as they can't go out, they've been asking me to make cards for their loved ones. This one is for a neighbours Grandson who is 24 today! He loves fast cars and has been lucky enough to have had quite a few "driving days" and one of the cars he experienced driving was an Aston Martin, so that was the inspiration for this card. I have used backing paper from Raspberry Road and a "Happy Birthday" stamp to finish the card off.

Hope you are all staying safe. This nightmare is nowhere near over. The way people are behaving, I can't see an end to it at the moment, and that makes me so sad.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing your makes. Big thanks to Hazel for sticking with me. It's good to be back!
