"PEACE"FUL CHRISTMAS CARD

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE! Trying hard to convince myself! I'm still not feeling completely 100% but I am going to venture into work today. My husband, the lovely Rich, is not speaking to me because he thinks I should be resting and seeing a doctor, but heyho! What can a doctor say that I don't know already?! Rest and steam inhalation...which I am doing, but I also need to try and be normal, otherwise I will just sleep all day, and that gets me down.
Anyway, now I've got that out of my system, I'll tell you about my card. I'm still determined to use up my stash, and this card is doing just that! The only problem is, I don't have references for the paper or the stamp, nevermind. I printed the dove out twice, so I could cut out the wing and decoupage it. Then I've simply layered up some christmassy papers (I think they are Papermania"Silent Night" but can't be sure), onto some Kraft card, and added some dome stickers I found, to spell "PEACE". And that's it.
I'm entering this in CHNC challenge "one word is sufficient" and also in the monthly challenge Hazel now runs.

CHRISTMAS CHURCH SHAKER CARD

This is my second shaker card made for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge this week. I can't recall where I got the digistamp from, but it's very prettty! I coloured in the sky with Promarkers, then made a simple window and frame, matching the base card. Twinklets added for the shaker snow!
Second entry in CHNC challenge "feature some snow".
Another entry inCHNC challenge Extra "anything goes".
I'm hoping I'll be feeling 100% very soon. I've got loads of new Saturated Canary stamps to colour, and a special little something to share with you, which was the highlight of my year so far! ;-)
Have a great weekend everyone.

SNOWMAN SHAKER CARD

I'm so glad Hazel chose "LOTS OF SNOW" for her challenge this week, mainly because I'd got two cards part done and as I'm suffering the dreaded man-flu, I haven't felt like making much, but didn't want to let the side down! This one is two snowmen cut on my Cricut and put on a snowy paper background. To this I've added a frame made from acetate and thin corrugated card, stuck on with with sticky pads, not forgetting of course, to add some Twinklets, and hey presto, a lovely sparkly, snowy shaker card!
This is one entry in CHNC challenge "feature some snow". And another for Hazel's monthly challenge found here.

HEART CHRISTMAS TREE CARD

Two posts in one day! Rock n roll! Lol
I've made this card taking the basic idea from some christmas trees me and my little girl made last year. I think it works just as well on a card as it did in 3d! I wish I'd taken a photo of the tree to show you but heyho! Basically, it's lots of little hearts cut from Christmassy papers ( I used the same paper for this card), stuck together to form a tree. For the 3d version, you make a cone from card, whatever size you like, and layer up the hearts from the bottom to the top. Very simple but quite stunning as a centrepiece!
Anyway, the card! I've layered up my tree, I stick it together with wet glue so it's easy to reposition if needed, and finished it off with a pot cut from Kraft card, some stripey ribbon from Dovecrafts, and some gold padded stars.
Simples and quick to do too.
I'm entering this one in CHNC challenge "Anything but snow" and also in Hazel's monthly challenge "anything goes".

MO MANNING THE ENGINEER BIRTHDAY CARD

Today's card is one I made for my bestest neighbour to give to her hubby. I couldn't believe it when I found this stamp from Mo Manning, because it's just PERFECT for Jimbo! He builds model trains and rides them round a track just like this. The stamp is called "The Engineer" and can be found here. I've coloured in the train to look like his "Ghost Runner" using my beloved Promarkers, then layered up some manly papers from Raspberry Road Designs, I think they're called "Hoedown" but can't find them on the site now?! Finished the card of with a little beige trim from my stash.
I'm entering this card in Passion for Promarkers challenge "Boys and their toys".
Hope you enjoy what's left of the weekend. I'm off to make a few cards and toppers now, and then it's a big Chinese feast with my Ma and Pa tonight. YUM!
新年好

SATURATED CANARY WISHY WASHY CARD

Today I am sharing a card I've made with a beautiful Saturated Canary stamp called "hand-me-downs". Coloured in with Promarkers, and layered up with kraft card and some lovely papers from Raspberry Road Designs, called "Faith, Hope and Love". And would you believe it, just visited Raspberry Road to get that link and they have a 50% sale!! On til the 14th Feb so go grab some bargains! I will be!
The "WISH" sentiment is one I've printed on my pc, and attached to "washing line" with little pegs, hence "WISHY WASHY"! Finished off the card with a few flat backed pearls and flowers from my stash.

I've made this card to enter the Saturated Canary Challenge this week, which is "Colour Inspiration" using this palette:
Off to spend some pennies now!

P P P PICK UP A CHRISTMAS PENGUIN

See....Poppi is a penguin! Lol! For those of you not in on the joke....I used this stamp a few weeks but foolishly coloured poor Poppi in as a puppy! I think I got away with it though. So, here she is in her proper colours! The stamp is from Bugaboo, and can be found here. Coloured in my my usual Promarkers and since I took the photo, I've added a little gold glitter to the baubles on the tree. I've stuck the image onto red card, and then onto a pearlescent base card which I've wrapped with gingham ribbon, and added a sliding sentiment.
I'm entering this in CHNC challenge which this week is to use anything beginning with "P" and also into her monthly challenge which is always "anything goes". Easy Peasy!

NATIVITY CHRISTMAS CARD

A very quick post for me today because as always I've left it to the last minute! I've used a stamp from Daisy Company (I will add link later as they have lots of freebies!), coloured in with Promarkers and layered onto some gold mirri card. This is on a cream base card which I've wrapped with some blue gingham ribbon. SIMPLES!
Last minute entry in CHNC challenge "Nativity".
PHEW! Done!
Have a great weekend crafting people!
