GEISHA GIRL FOR THE CRAFTER'S CAFE BLOG CHALLENGE

Good afternoon!
I'm here again with another card for the new challenge at The Crafter's Cafe, and as we're still in July, the theme is once again "Anything goes". We are sponsored this week by Rick St Dennis, from where I chose the lovely "Geisha" digi. This is one of those cards which I knew EXACTLY how to make...what colours I was going to use (red!)....How I was going to make to background (a bamboo screen)....Embellishments I was going to use (a little handmade fan)...and as you can see I did NONE of those!!! It's orange, the "screen" got covered, and the fan turned into a tree! Sometimes that's just the way it goes...you just have to go with the flow!
I've used papers from Raspberry Road, the tree is cut from the "Serenade" Cricut cartridge, and the little Japanese sentiment was printed on my PC....after about an hour of getting my little girl to draw it for me (she's learning Japanese at school-clever little whatsit!)...she wasn't quite neat enough.
I hope you like my little "mishap" card. Please come over and show us your fab makes.
Hugs
Fiona
