MO MANNING SPREADING THE JOY CARD
Sad night for me! I'm sat here on my own! My boy is at camp with the Air Cadets, my husband is out playing pool, daughter out with her friends, and I've got a very poorly cat! :-(
So I thought I'd share a card with my blogger friends!
This is one I've made for a work colleague for her Mum. She loves lilacs so they were the colours I chose to colour in my little Mo Manning image. I love this cutie! The paper is from Raspberry Road (had a bit of a spending spree in their sale at the weekend!) and I've layered it up with some lilac glittery paper and white card. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the ribbon and gems from my stash.
I'm entering this is in Mo's Digital Challenge "Lovely Layers".
Off work now until next wednesday, which is a good job because I've been asked to make another 6 cards, all for next week!

KISSING REINDEER CHRISTMAS CARD
Last but not least! My third card to share with you as guest designer for Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge "For a couple".
For this one, I chose another stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique which I thought was perfect for a couple. Coloured in with Promarkers and layered on gold mirri card, and added to a base card which I've made by layering up some Papermania "Mistletoe Kisses" papers on red card. I've used some red trim from my stash, and finished off with a few matching flowers to which I've added some gold Stickles.
That's it from me (for now!). Please join in the fun! I look forward to seeing your creations.

CUDDLY BEARS CHRISTMAS CARD
This is my second card as guest designer for Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas challenge "For a couple". This time I've used a digistamp from Digi Stamp Boutique which I've coloured with Promarkers and highlighted with a little glitter. I've made a square base card, and cut the front in half, layered up some papers from Papermania "Mistletoe Kisses" onto gold mirri card, then matted and layered the image and attached some ribbon to hang the sentiment from. With some buttons to embellish. Simples!

SIMPLE WHITE CHRISTMAS CARD
This is a card I've made following the sketch over at Freshly made sketches :
I decided on an all white card....you can't get more clean and simple than that can you?! Lol! So, I made a base card with white pearlescent card, added a layer of dotty embossed paper, a strip of pearlescent card, and some snowflakes cut on my Cricut. I've embellished these with gems...have to have a bit of sparkle for Christmas! Finished off with a sentiment tag from my stash. I love it!
Entering this in the challenge...fingers crossed!

MY FIRST MAGNOLIA TILDA CARD
I've finally plucked up the courage to share this card, it's taken me a while as it's my very first attempt at colouring a Tilda! I'm not a huge fan but thought I'd have a go. This one is from the Turning Leaves collection. I've coloured her in with Promarkers, and as Autumn always makes me want to snuggle up with a good book (and my good man!) , I made a bookmark too! The base card is a criss-cross design, but I've curved the edges for a change. I've used papers from Raspberry Road "Faith Hope Joy" collection, which I love. I've used a Marianne Designs swirly die-cut ( from "dies to die for" ) and embellished with flowers which are mostly from WOC, plus a few from my flower mountain! I've added a little pink lace and some lovely rose cameos which I found on ebay. The insert card is simply a piece of the paper layered onto some card, with a lace handle.
Not bad for a first go!
I'm entering this in Dies to die for challenge "Anything goes".
Time for me to go get snuggly with my book (the man is out!) lol

MUMMY TO BE CARD
I've been asked to make a Mummy to be card and was going to use a pregnant lady die-cut but then remembered I'd bought this stamp from Mo Manning's digi shop, and went with this instead. I've coloured her in with Promarkers and layered up a base card with some digipapers I bought a while back, possibly from Cuddly Buddly?! I've had the Big Shot out again to cut the pretty ribbon border and corner, (Marianne Designs from Dies to Die for). I've added some pinky pearls and pink and green flowers from WOC with a few twirly wires.
I'm entering this in the Wild Orchid Challenge which is "Pinks & Greens".

MISTLETOE & WINE CHRISTMAS CARD
Evening all! This weeks challenge at Crafty Hazel Nuts Blog is festive food or drink. I, of course, went down the drink route! Lol! I've treated myself to a new toy this week, well, why not? Bought myself a Big Shot and I love it. I used the embossing folder that came with it to emboss some white card for the background, and cut the bottle and glass on my ever faithful Cricut (you are still my number one my precious!). Also diecut the mistletoe and added some sparkly berries. I then layered this ensemble onto some gold mirri card, and attached it to a cream base card, wrapped with burgundy ribbon. Just a few green buttons to finish it off.
This is my first entry into CHNC challenge, I may do more if time allows.

FALLING SNOWFLAKES CHRISTMAS CARD
It's a sign I'm not at work! Second card made this week already, along with lots of toppers to sell on ebay. I've been a busy gal! Me and the family went bowling today aswell...lots of fun had by all. Not mentioning the scores though :-) xx
I wanted to try something new on this card, a spinning wheel. I made a base card and layered up some snowflake paper from "Winter Wonderland" again, onto gold mirri card. Then cut a hole in all the layers, and behind this, I've used a split pin to attach a spinning wheel, to which I've stuck lots of snowflake punchies and Stickles. The wheel can be turned by the scalloped edge which you can see sticking out. I then cut a lovley snowy cottage on my Cricut and attached this with foam pads to hide the split pin. I'm really pleased with it!
That's all for today. The boys are off out playing pool tomorrow, leaving me and my lovely little Poppi to entertain ourselves...it's bound to involve glue! Lol xx

BLUE BLUE CHRISTMAS CARD
Easy easel card today, using my favourite colour, blue! That's the challenge this week over at CHNC
"Use your favourite colour/s". Easy for me. Blue has been my fave ever since I can remember. I even begged to have blue hair in my teens but wasn't allowed :-(
Anyway, back to my card. I've made a base easel card and layered up some paper from "Dovecraft Winter Wonderland" on silver mirri board, done the inside to match! I've attached some blue lace and ribbon and then cut some lovely baubles on my Cricut, and attached these with pieces of ribbon, dangling from the top. Just used a couple of snowflakes to embellish. There is a sentiment inside the card, which also serves to hold up the easel part, but I didn't have time to take a proper photo and had to do it flat (sorry!).
Hopefully, I will get chance to watch some of the Olympics tonight. Loved watching Bolt bolting! But my favourite so far has to be Jessica Ennis. Loving it all and proud to be a Brit!

SIMPLE SILHOUETTE CHRISTMAS TREES
A quick simple card today to celebrate the start of my holidays! Yay for me! Just over two weeks off work...lots of fun to be had!
For this one I have cut the Christmas tree silhouette on my Cricut and added some real effect snow. I have layered it onto some sky-print paper, and gold and black card. I've use some lovely black ribbon wrapped around the card, and finished off with a couple of gold padded stars.
This is my second entry in CHNC challenge "Tie a ribbon".
Off to engross myself in book two!
