WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS

It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Blog. Each weekly challenge is "Anything Goes as long as it's CHRISTMAS" with an OPTIONAL theme, which this week is
"Make your own background".

I used Memento Dusky Pink ink on a piece of white card, then used Versamark ink and silver embossing powder with a musical note stamp. This was my background panel to which I added a cute singing Santa, and embossed sentiment in the corner. 
In true "Fiona" style, I have just noticed the panel is upside down but hey-ho! We'll just have to sing standing on our heads!

I have had a play with an old die. This is the butterfly princess die which is one of my favourites. But instead of using the butterfly cut outs, I used snowflake punchies! I glittered up the dress with Stickles and added gems to the snowflake centres. And I love how it turned out!

I've used a couple of dies to make my cards, yes, I made two. Waste not, want not!


Card number two is the actual die-cuts, card number one is made from the "off-cut". It was SO fiddly sticking all the tiny pieces in place (middle of the letters etc) but I think it was worth it.
