Hi everyone. Quick post because I've had a MAD day and need to chill....
I've used this cute little elf digi from Stamping Dragon Designs coloured with Promarkers....went a little wacky with the hair but I love it!
The background is a piece of paper from Dovecrafts Winter Wonderland, layered on silver mirri, on a white base card. Found a snip of blue fluffy wool , and the tag was just lying on my desk....I really should tidy up!
I've added some Twinklets to her hat and cuffs....I do like my Christmas Sparkle!

QUEEN OF HEARTS
Hi everyone! I've had a bit of a topsy-turvy day at work. Had to practice my first aid skills on a customer who fell up our steps and got a nasty cut on her leg....so proud that I didn't panic! There was ALOT of blood! That dealt with, I then had my personal performance review with my manager, and although she was very nice and pointed out all the "GREAT" things I do, I'm being ME and focusing on the bad things she said....and I feel like poop about that. So I'm having a glass of wine.....naughty but nice!
Blah blah over.....my card! This one features "Lizabeth Queen of Hearts" from Lacy Sunshine , our sponsor this week at The Crafter's Cafe. The theme is wet / dry embossing. I've coloured my pretty in my Promarkers (colours listed below). I've used a Kraft base card and layered up some silver mirri and pink card. I randomly stamped a piece of paper with a heart stamp....using silver embossing powder on a few of them (my wet embossing!), and the pink strip across the centre is dry-embossed with a Swiss Dots folder.
Just added a few flowers to finish the card off.
Looking forward to seeing what you create with your wet and/or dry embossing techniques!
Big hugs....and CHEERS!

SOMETHING FOR THE LADIES
Good Morning Everyone. Hope you are all well. It's the last week of our school summer hols and I have to work. Boooooooo! But luckily I finish at 3.00pm so at least I have the rest of the day with my kiddiwinks. Hoorah!
Onto today's card. Steady now!
It's time for a new challenge at Rhedd and Rosies and the theme for the next fortnight is "Something for the ladies". I decided to work with this hunky fireman by Kenny K. I had a go at "Greyscale" colouring, quite pleased with my first attempt....but then I just HAD to add my little bit of red.
I've made a simple base card from Kraft card and a piece of dotty paper from Wild Rose Studio, wrapped in a couple of pieces of ribbon. The "sentiment" was printed on my PC. I've made this for a special friend who is celebrating her 25th (and the rest!) birthday this week.
So it's over to you! As you will see from the other DT makes, "Something for the ladies" has many connotations! Please come and show us yours!
The challenge is sponsored by our blog owner, Sandie, who is offering this wonderful prize:
Looking forward to seeing your makes.

STAMPING WITH DRAGONS?
Good evening everybody! Hope you are all in a happy crafty place! I want to share with you a Christmas card today.
I've made this using a gorgeous digi set from Stamping Dragon Designs. It's called "Whimsical Christmas" and can be found here. I've only printed off part of the set so far and made two cards with bits left over! It goes along way! I've made a secret pocket card into which I've slipped a tag (you can add money!).
I am now part of the Design Team on Facebook for Stamping Dragons...it's a fab friendly group, and there are lots of fun things going on all the time, plus freebies to be had! Come join the fun:

I have actually done my very first tutorial on how to make this card, which can be found here:
Fiona's First Tutorial (It's actually under the heading of "Tina's Tutorials" but I've kinda taken over the tuts from Tina for a while.
Big Hugs

RED & WHITE CHRISTMAS
Ultra quick post because I had forgotten about this challenge! Love entering Hazel's challenges, she works so hard, and I'm sure she's not appreciated enough!
I've made a Kraft base card, cutting three circles on my Cricut, and added some Scandinavian style printed circles. I used a swirly stamp, randomly stamping around the circles, and simply added some ribbon and a sentiment along the bottom of the card.
Hope you like it!

OH I DO LIKE TO BE BESIDE THE SEASIDE
I do! I love the beach, and one day I WILL live by the sea! It's good to have a dream...
Hope you are all well. Here's my DT card for The Crafter's Cafe challenge blog . What a wonderful theme we have for you...."At the Beach". We are sponsored by Meljen's Designs this week, who have loads of gorgeous stamps. I chose to use "Seafaring Seagull Frame", which I've coloured with Promarkers. I've used a scrap of paper I found at the back of (one of my!) paper boxes, I die-cut a shell out of Kraft card and added some of that gorgeous open-wove burlap. I also used a little "pearl" button, kindly donated by my friend. The postcard is another digi from Stamping Dragon Designs another fab digi shop!
That's all from me for now.
Big Hugs

PS. Just so you know.......
FOR THE LOVE OF JAM
I love jam, especially with cheese on a sandwich. Sounds yuk....but don't knock it until you've tried it!
That was my inspiration for my DT card for Rhedd and Rosies this week. The theme is "Use red....somewhere in your project". Strawberries are red....strawberries make lovely JAM and JAM and cheese sandwiches ROCK!
I've used an image from Saturated Canary...she's called "Princess Rose Red" coloured in with Promarkers. I'm still using my freebie papers from Raspberry Road....don't quite know what I'll do when they've all gone!
I found some strawberry ribbon in my stash, and hunted down the padded strawberries I knew I had buried somewhere. Finished off with a few red and white flowers from Mulberry Crafts.
Please come along and take part in our challenge. It's RED....it's easy peasy! And here's the prize you could win:
Look forward to seeing your projects!

QUICKIE CHRISTMAS CARD #1
Quick card equals quick post! I've raided my Christmas scraps box and come up with this simple card. I think the papers were from Polka Doodles...I've just layered up a couple of pieces onto silver mirri card. I cut out the heart and sentiment pieces and smothered them in Glossy Accents so they stand out (can't quite capture that in a photo!).

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
Evenin' all! Super quick card-make today. I spotted there was a Bestie challenge using "The Besties of Oz" digi stamps, with only a couple of days left to enter; only got my digi a couple of hours ago....and BAM! Here's my card!
I just HAD to make this one...and here's why....
Yep, that's me...the Wicked Witch of the West, in the school Christmas play, just over 30 years ago! Happy days!
The digi is called "Big eyed Oz and your little dog too", and I've used my beloved Promarkers to colour her in. I've layered up some papers from Raspberry Road, with black tulle netting and purple card. The picket fence and shoes were cut on my Cricut. I've added Stickles....the Wicked Witch was always chasing the RUBY SLIPPERS! lol
Hope you like it!
