GEISHA GIRL FOR THE CRAFTER'S CAFE BLOG CHALLENGE

Good afternoon!
I'm here again with another card for the new challenge at The Crafter's Cafe, and as we're still in July, the theme is once again "Anything goes". We are sponsored this week by Rick St Dennis, from where I chose the lovely "Geisha" digi. This is one of those cards which I knew EXACTLY how to make...what colours I was going to use (red!)....How I was going to make to background (a bamboo screen)....Embellishments I was going to use (a little handmade fan)...and as you can see I did NONE of those!!! It's orange, the "screen" got covered, and the fan turned into a tree! Sometimes that's just the way it goes...you just have to go with the flow!
I've used papers from Raspberry Road, the tree is cut from the "Serenade" Cricut cartridge, and the little Japanese sentiment was printed on my PC....after about an hour of getting my little girl to draw it for me (she's learning Japanese at school-clever little whatsit!)...she wasn't quite neat enough.
I hope you like my little "mishap" card. Please come over and show us your fab makes.
Hugs

RHEDD & ROSIES TIME CHALLENGE

Good morning Blogland! Hope you are all doing well out there! I'm waiting to see whether the weather is going to be kind today so me and my little Pops can have a day out to an open air Victorian museum/town. It won't be much fun if it rains. Fingers crossed it'll stay fine.
It's time for a new challenge at Rhedd and Rosies today....the theme this week is "TIME". Maybe you fancy altering a clock like our very clever Tina, or maybe making a simple card like lazy me?! lol
I've used a gorgeous digistamp from Stamping Dragon Designs called "Vintage Garden Clock" ,which I've "aged" with distress inks, and some lovely rosey paper from my freebie Raspberry Road pack. I've kept it quite minimal because I didn't want to smother the pretty paper! I've used some dome stickers to spell out "TAKE TIME" and printed the sentiment on my PC.
The prize this week is this lovely stamp set:

I do hope you'll come over and show us your fabulous makes...you have two weeks to take part....TICK TOCK TICK TOCK...!!!

FANTASY FAIRY SPARKLE CARD

Hi everyone. Thundery showers here today but I couldn't care less; I'm off work for a week (possibly two) with my kiddiwinks and life is GOOD!
My card today is made using a digi stamp called "Butterfly Angel" from Lavinia Stamps. Isn't she beautiful!
I've coloured her in to match the background paper, and layered onto lilac and silver mirri card. I've added some flowers from my stash, and some blingy stars and round gems, with a little Stickles around the edge of the scallop circle and angel's wings.
Promarkers used:
Skin: Blush and Almond
Hair: Cinnamon, Tan and Sandstone
Dress: Violet, Amethyst and Orchid.
Thanks for taking time to visit me.

SMILEY SNOWMAN CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi everyone. Sunshine and showery day and I've played with snow! I've made today's card for a fun challenge on "Stamping Dragon Designs" facebook page. Come join us, it's lots of fun and freebies to be had too!
I've used "Snowman" from SDD, layered onto red card. The backing paper is also from SDD and can be found here. I've added some glittery snow, snowflake ribbon and a few buttons. And guess where the sentiment is from?! Oh go on then....its also from SDD. It's part of a brilliant set which you can find here.
I've used Kraft card as a base, as I think it works really well with the muted blues and bold red.
I will hopefully be back later with another card if time allows.
Happy Sunday Everyone!

GATHERING THE FLOWERS CREATIVE BUGS CARD

Little girl sleeping now so another quickie from me!
This card is my DT make for The Crafter's Cafe blog where the challenge once again is "Anything goes".
We had the choice of some cute little images from Creative Bug Digis  this week, and they are sponsoring this challenge.
I've coloured this little cutie in with Promakers, and used some freebie magazine papers from Raspberry Road layered onto Bazzil cardstock. The flowers and pearls are from my stash, the white ribbon is another "donation" from my neighbour!
Hope you like it! Please come over and show us your creative makes!

SIMPLES CHRISTMAS TREE CARD

Look at me! Second post of the day....and it's not my last! lol
Will be quick though because I've got a poorly little girl today. I had to fetch her from school at lunch-time because she was feeling ill; don't think she's liking this heat! I'm sure she'll be fine :-)
I've used a cute little tree stamp I found in my daughter's crafty bits at the weekend. I think I bought her a few this size last year, costing a huge 25p each! The sentiment stamp is from MY stash. I've simply die cut them and added them to a base Kraft card, along with some gingham ribbon, and pearls. I've added a little Stickles to the trees for that Christmas sparkle! ONE LITTLE TIP FOR YOU....do NOT leave your Stickles in a warm place! I left mine in the conservatory, and when I opened it, it just flowed out! Couldn't stop it, and I ended up looking like a red sparkly fairy!
Right, best go and see to the HOT one.

SATUARTED CANARY BIRTHDAY WISHES

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well and loving the glorious weather we're having at the moment; I'm not one for sunbathing though...I'm too much of a fidget for that! And I'm not too happy about the warm nights (can't sleep!) but musn't grumble! lol I just love that everyone seems in a better mood!
Onto today's card, my DT make for Rhedd and Rosies  challenge blog.
I LOVE this stamp, another Saturated Canary of course. This one is called "Roses are red, violets are blue" and I've coloured her in with Promarkers, inspired by my little girl when she pinches my red lipstick!
For the base card I've used paper from Raspberry Road Designs and pink card. I've used a piece of beige open-wove trim, which I've threaded with red gingham ribbon and added a few flowers to pretty it up, some flat-backed pearls a few pretty dragonfly pearls finish it off nicely.
The theme this week is.....wait for it....."ANYTHING GOES!". Easy peasy! We're sponsored this week by Sandie aka Rhedd! And here's a pic of the prize on offer:

So come on...take a break from the hot sun, and get crafting!! You know you want to!

Hello everyone!
This post will be short ( for personal reasons), hope you'll forgive me! This is my DT make for this weeks challenge at Rhedd and Rosies and the theme is "Here comes summer"! Hard thing for us in the UK to believe, but it WILL come!!
I have used a Saturated Canary digistamp called "Little sisters and sand castles" coloured in with Promarkers. The papers are freebies from a mag, and I cut a few shells from Kraft card on my Cricut. The banners are hand cut and hand-written! xx

Thanks for taking the time to look. And GOOD LUCK with the challenge. There's a fab prize on offer by DT member and blog owner, Sandie, here's a picture to tempt you!

So come on....show us your summery makes!
