POPPIES AND BUTTERFLIES

 

Good morning!

It's a new month so it's new challenge time at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge but you must use some patterned paper or card. Time to use up your stash!

I have used my favourite butterfly lady die to make my card, together with the last sheet of one of my favourite ever backing papers....slowly getting through my stash. I don't think I've bought anything new in the last two years which is very good going for me.

GO GREEN

 

Hello bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "USE SOME GREEN".

I have gone with pale green for my card, using dies to cut corner shapes and adding a poinsettia spray through the middle.

GOLDEN SNOWFLAKES

 

Hello bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "USE SOME GOLD".

I have had my stamps out for today's card. Using Versamark in, I stamped the sentiment across the centre of a piece of white card, then added stamped snowflakes. I then used gold embossing powder and my heat gun, love doing this. At the very least it keeps me warm! I layered the white card onto gold mirri card, then onto a background of gold and brown snowflake card.

SNOWFLAKE BEAR

 

Hello bloggers! It's Sunday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "SOMETHING CUTE".

Finally managed to access Blogger after a few technical issues. I don't know what's been happening this week....we've had dodgy phone signal since Monday, that seems a little better today but we shall see. The true test is when I'm at work, which is only a mile away but the signal there has been non-existent!

I have used an old teddy bear stamp for my card today, coloured with Prisma pencils. The stamp has flowers on the gift but I've covered them with little snowflake punchies to make it Christmassy. I love my little scruffy bear!

CHRISTMAS GNOMES

 

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "CHRISTMAS GNOMES".

I have used a cute little gnome stamp for my card today. Coloured them in with Copics (R39,37,35,32 and 30, W5,3 and 1) and layered them up on some snowflake backing paper, and a couple of stamped sentiments.

MUSICAL BIRTHDAY

I was having a rummage through my stash, obviously looking for something that I didn't find! But I did find a sheet of musical print paper so decided to use that to make my card. I layered it up on black card and added a musical Happy Birthday die.

MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS TREE

 

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "USE A SENTIMENT".

I have used a sentiment Christmas tree stamp, stamped with Versamark ink directly onto backing paper, and embossed with white powder. I layered the backing paper onto a piece of green pearlescent paper and finished off with a few flat backed pearls.
