Good morning and welcome to September! 

It's a new month so it's new challenge time at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge but you must use some patterned paper or card. Hazel offers a prize each month and is willing to post anywhere in the world so anyone can enter, and you can enter as many times as you like! The prize this month is this:

For my card, I have used up some scraps of paper, cutting each one with a die and layering them up. I added a simple "Hello" sentiment.

Can't believe that's another month gone. It's been a crappy year. I am so in need of something nice to happen. I'm 50 in a couple of months but I think I'm going to postpone my birthday for another year. Staying 49!!!

I have been AWOL for a couple of weeks. During the thunderstorms, a huge bolt of lightning hit somewhere really close to us (still trying to discover exactly where); I love a storm but when the house shook, even I was scared! Anyway, no major damage except it blew our router. No internet for over a week, that taught the young uns' a lesson!

Back up and running now though. My card is another simple one. I cut some snowflakes from glittery card and and attached them to black squares. These are stuck onto white card with foam pads, adding a little sentiment to finish it off.

I have finally got round to using some of the vellum from the huge book of papers I bought from Lidl. I cut out a frame and stuck the vellum on the back. Then adhered this to my card with 3d foam pads, giving it a little lift. Finished off with a holly sprig.

I have used a magazine freebie to make my card. I used a stitched edge die to cut the backing paper and black card background. The "Bee Happy" stamp and Bee die were part of the set, finished off with some twine. I really love this set but it is sadly all used up now.
