Oh how I love Krista Smith! I have totally fallen in love with Saturated Canary stamps, I find them such fun to colour!
This little lady is called "up-up-away" and I've chosen her because I wish to enter Saturated Canary Challenge "song inspiration". Can you guess what song I chose?! Lol! Easy peasy... it's "99 red balloons" by Nena, a brilliant song from my youth ;-)
I used Promarkers to colour her in. The silhouette buildings were cut on my Cricut. I've layered the image on Kraft card, and sky print paper and the lettering was done on my computer, printed onto Kraft card. Flowers and beads from my stash!
Hope you like it!

BUGABOO CHRISTMAS TAKE THREE!
This one made Hazel and I laugh! In my stupidity (or is it creativity?!!), I thought this stamp looked like a puppy in a pot, so that is why he is coloured in browns. It turns out SHE is actually a penguin, the stamp is called "Poppi-xmas-tree". OH WELL! I like to make people laugh! I thought he looked sad!!! Lol!
Anyway, as always, coloured in with Promarkers, and everything else from my stash, except the red twine, which I have pinched from a pack of Christmas tags hubby bought cheap (he'll have to use sellotape!).
This is my second entry in this weeks CHNC challenge "Santa has gone into hiding".

BUGABOO CHRISTMAS TAKE TWO
I've got a few cards to post today. This one is another I've made as guest designer for Crafty Hazel Nuts Christmas Challenge2. I chose this lovely stamp because I'm a massive fan of all things elephant! It's called "Sign-it--Christmas-Edward". I've coloured him in with Promarkers and added a little gold Stickles. Everything else I've used is from my stash, as part of my "USE IT BEFORE YOU BUY MORE!" resolution!
Hazel is allowing me to enter her weekly challenges with my cards, and this week the theme is "Santa has gone into hiding". I'm going to get my little girl to write a message on this one before I send it!

Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Extra
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
What an exciting start I'm having to mine! Hazel at CHNC has asked me to be guest designer for her "Challenge Extra" blog for January. Please take a peak at Hazel's blogs and join in the fun!
Here's my first card
This month's challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. I have used "chimney santa" and the "winter circle sentiment -chimney". I've coloured them in with Promarkers, and added a litlle gold Stickles. For the base card, I have cut a basic chimney pot shape and attached a piece of brickwork print paper ( a freebie off the internet!) and for the top, I've attached a piece of Kraft card, finished off with a generous sprinkling of "Twinklets Diamond Dust".
Hope you like it!

SATURATED CANARY CHRISTMAS CARD
Back again in blogland! Christmas festivities almost done, just the big party at my sister's house tomorrow night, then I can put the corkscrew away!
Today's card is one I've made for almost nothing! I bought the stamp a while ago from Saturated Canary; she's called "Double Take" and this is the first time I've coloured her in. I've used my Promarkers along with some Stickles for a bit of glam! Isn't she lovely?!
The rest of the card is made from goodies from my stash. The papers were free in a magazine, the kraft card is from the inside of some Christmas wrapping paper, but what I'm most pleased with is the dangling bead charm I've made using beads that I've had since my early teens, when I got into making earrings...a LONG time ago! I've finished off with a diecut layered flower with pearl flower centre.
Hope you like it! A head start for me on my New Years Resolution....USE SOME STASH!!!
I'm entering this in Crafty Hazel Nuts Christmas Challenge "any Christmas card" and Saturated Canary Challenge "Rebekah's Photo Inspiration" and here's the photo:
And last but not least, Joanna Sheen Challenge "with-love-at-christmas" , who are also after new GDT members if anyone's interested!
That's all from me for today. More to come soon!

DOGGY CHRISTMAS CARD FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL
Long time, no blog! And this is a very quick one! I wanted to make this card to enter Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge this week because I feel like I've been negleting it. I've been busy doing Christmas card orders, but I cannot express how grateful I am to Hazel and her blog, because if I hadn't discovered her and the blog, I wouldn't have all my own personal cards done yet! I've also re-discovered knitting and I'm making little Christmas puds that go on a well known round chocolate treat. They look lovely, the link for the recipe is here http://appletreecrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/free-knitting-pattern-mini-christmas.html. They are so quick to make, I'm doing them for all my family and special friends.
Back to the card....this is for a very special friend I met years ago through work. Sadly, she moved away and made a new life Lincoln way, setting up her own dog-grooming business. Hence, the card had to have a doggy on it! I've made a simple easel card, using some snowflake and dotty papers on a silver base card. Bit of stripey ribbon, and die-cut doggy courtesy of my Cricut! I love him!
Last minute entry in the challenge but fingers crossed for a win because the prize is lovely!

MO MANNING CHRISTMAS CARD
I've been neglecting Mo Manning of late but as this weeks Crafty Hazelnuts Challenge has called for a card for a man or boy, I knew exactly where to go for inspiration! I do love Mo's stamps and I've ended up spending more than I should but hey ho!
I've chosen to use "Timmy's Stocking" for this card...I think he's really cute. I've coloured him in with Promarkers, and layered the image onto some lovely Daisy & Dandelion Christmas papers. The ribbon is from the little collection my neighbour gives me (she cuts ribbon off everything for me!), and the sentiment stamp is an old one I found in my stash. I've finished the card off with a padded snowflake and some black gems.
I'm entering this in CHNC chalenge "for a man or a boy" and in Mo's Digital Challenge "C is for...." CHRISTMAS!!
I'm off to do the school run now. Then going to do not a lot....it IS my birthday! I've been spoilt rotten. Hubby has bought me the Kindle Fire so I've got to get my head round even more technology! Should be fun!
Hugs

PS. Almost forgot to mention CHNC new monthly challenge blog which will start soon, and to celebrate Hazel is giving away some great candy, along with the chance to be a guest designer. Go on! Have a go....you never know where it may lead! Details can be found here Crafty Hazel Nuts Christmas Challenge2.
