GOLDEN REINDEER

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Include a reindeer".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

I was in a bit of a rush making this card....can you tell?! Lol!
I have used some stamps with Versamark ink, and gold embossing powder, stamping the images onto background paper before heat embossing.
I like it but might just do it again because it's not perfect.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

RIBBON AND SNOWFLAKES

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Use some ribbon or twine".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Cherry Green Designs
"Frankie Sunbathing"
Unmounted rubber stamp
Includes seven elements

I dug out some beautiful snowflake organza ribbon, intent on making a "present" card but I just couldn't get the bow right. So I went with a simple wraparound, adding snowflake die cuts and embellishment, with a diecut sentiment, all in white. Turned out ok I think!
I had a little visit from an old work colleague yesterday, with her new baby. Cuteness overload! Little Dorothy was absolutely fascinated with our ceiling fan. It's the simple things!
Then, my daughter cooked our tea. She said they'd learned about 70's food in school last week and wanted to cook us the same....turned out to be a Vesta Chow Mein!!!! It was nice but not something I want to have again.
Hopefully going to fit in a bit of colouring today now the weather has cooled down.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

MICROBEAD ANGST

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Use a die cut or punchie".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Make and Create Paper Pack

I thought I'd try something a little different for me this week, soon regretted it!
I cut this rather intricate Christmas tree from double sided sticky, with the intent of using microbeads. It was THE most fiddley thing I have ever done....and the beads didn't quite stick to the top part ( I may go over this with glitter?). It doesn't look too bad though.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

plus 10 deisgner papers with toppersand borders

I have been thrifty with this card, one little strip of paper and two dies! The wording is supposed to be straight but it wasn't haven't it when it came to sticking it down! Added some star gems to finish the card off.
Looking forward to seeing your makes.

REMEMBERING ROBINS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "For a man or a boy".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:
Make and Create Paper Pad
"It's a Beautiful Day"
3 x 10 designs

This theme makes me a little (lot) sad....and I'm still drawn to make a card for my Dad who is no longer with us. I went with a simple one, using a freebie magazine pack. I just had to feature a robin.
I've had a rough week and wished Dad was here to offer advice; then I realised he wouldn't actually give advice (he rarely did!) but he'd just make me a cup of tea and tell me everything will be fine. And he was right most of the time!

Looking forawrd to seeing your makes.

BLUE CORNFLOWERS

Good morning!
It's a new month so it's new challenge time at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge but you must use some patterned paper or card. Hazel offers a prize each month and is willing to post anywhere in the world so anyone can enter, and you can enter as many times as you like! This month's prize is this:

WO Products N.V. Netherlands
Paper Pack with Foil
18 sheets

I have used a selection of dies, cutting paper from Mix & Match "Floral Elegance", a bargain pack from The Works, only £1!!!
I also cut and layered the flower and leaves, colouring them in with Copics to try and match the blue in the paper...it's close enough. I also coloured the peel-off with Copics to match.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.
