VINTAGE CHRISTMAS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Vintage or Shabby Chic".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:
Crafter's Companion
Everyday Rubber Stamp Set
Stitched With Love
The Makey Bakey Mice

I have taken a trip down memory lane this week. I had this idea in my head to use a postcard for my vintage theme. Had to hunt for this one ( I am rubbish at labelling things!), it's a digital stamp from Stamping Dragons....I printed it out on Kraft card and stamped and embossed snowflakes on each side. I wasn't sure about using the gold at first but I love how it turned out. I've used a couple of ribbons from my stash and the backing paper is a magazine freebie.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

GOLDEN CHRISTMAS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Use some GOLD".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Mine is a bit of a sentimental card this week. The backing paper is from a pack called "Silent Night" (sorry, can't remember the manufacturer!) and this was the very first paper pack I used to make my first Christmas card entry for Hazel's Christmas challenge, many years ago! And I won!!
This card may look quite simple but it took me quite a while to put together. I had the idea of using 3d foam pads on the die cut; they were TINY, and there were LOTS! Won't be doing that again in a hurry.

Hope you are staying safe.

GREEN CHRISTMAS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Use some green".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:

Green Jungle
6" x 6" paper pad
3 x 10 designs

I have used a selection of dies and some snippets of paper from my stash.....not sure about this card. I'm thinking it's a bit plain but may be okay for a male?!
Hope you are all well.

CUTE CHRISTMAS

Good morning bloggers! It's Saturday so it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge as long as it's Christmas related, with the optional theme this week of "Cute".

The winner is picked randomly each week and Hazel is willing to post the prize anywhere in the world! This week's prize is this:
Visible Image
clear stamp
"Jake"

I have used my cute little snowman, layering him up on a piece of snowflake embossed card, and pretty blue snowflake backing paper. Finished of with a silver sentiment.
It's been a strange week, this week. Everyone at work was feeling the strain a little. We will get through this but sometimes it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Hope you are all well.

PRETTY IN PINK BIRTHDAY

Good morning!
It's a new month so it's new challenge time at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge . As always, it's an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge but you must use some patterned paper or card. Hazel offers a prize each month and is willing to post anywhere in the world so anyone can enter, and you can enter as many times as you like! This month's prize is this:

The Paper Boutique
"Festive Wishes"
36 sheets 6 designs

This is another card I made for my neighbour (from her hubby) for her big birthday. It was celebrated in the best way we could in the circumstances. Lots of yelling "Happy Birthday" over garden fences that day!
I found a couple of pieces of matching backing paper in my stash, used one piece fr the background and the other to make the flowers, adding various diecuts to pretty it up! The wording was printed on my PC.
Hope you are all keeping well, and keeping active, mentally and physically. I have started walking EVERYWHERE again, I'd got rather lazy, with hubby working from home it was easy for me to have the car and drive to work...but it's only a mile away so I'm trying to walk it there and back instead. It certainly clears my mind.
Take care of yourselves.
