WASHI BIRDIE CHRISTMAS

Hope you are all well. 
It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Blog. Each weekly challenge is "Anything Goes as long as it's CHRISTMAS" with an OPTIONAL theme, which this week is

"Use washi tape".

So another quickie card, well it was after I'd spent half an hour looking for my washi tape! Teamed up strips of washi with a cute birdie and a peel off greeting.

Whizzing off the the hospital now, hoping Dad's not as fed up as he was yesterday!

ICED GINGERBREAD PEEPS

Hope you are all well. 
It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Blog. Each weekly challenge is "Anything Goes as long as it's CHRISTMAS" with an OPTIONAL theme, which this week is

"non-traditional Christmas colours".

Winners are chosen at random.

This card is totally NOT what I had planned but as I was rummaging through my Christmas box I spotted these cute little Gingerbread people and thought I'd use them instead. I cut them out and then applied Diamond Glaze to make them stand out. Doodled around a matching snippet of paper, and added some twine. Job done!

I've got a week of work now. Got so much to do. I'm hoping to make a few Christmas cards in advance, and hopefully set up blog posts! I'm doing my first ever craft fair in a couple of weeks so busy making things for that.

And my poor old Dad is still in hospital. He's doing ok, literally just need to get him back on his feet! Visiting him often and making sure he's doing his exercises!

VINTAGE WINTER FUN

"Winter fun".

I have used a vintage image which printed off with a green tint for some reason (new cartridge) so I layered it onto green card to bring the colour out more. I'd saved the "Merry Christmas" wording from a previous card, where I used the rest of the cut (what is the word I'm looking for?!).

I am late with my post. I've got a poorly Dad in hospital and time is just passing me by. Bless his 88 year old heart, he's trying so hard to keep his spirits up so we don't worry. Love you Dad, just want you better!

So another simple card from me using freebie paper from a magazine, edged with gold ink with a little sentiment added.

I'll try not to be late next week!

I am here today with my June make for Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge. 

You can enter with any creation as long as you use PATTERNED PAPER! Easy peasy. We aim to encourage you to use up your stash of patterned papers We are all guilty of having too many. Haha!
Hazel offers a prize to a randomly chosen winner, and she is willing to post anywhere in the world.

For my card, I have used paper from my huge stash, I think this is from Hunky Dory, adding some shiny silver ribbon to the corners.
