EMBOSSED SNOWFLAKES?

Hope you are all well. 
It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Blog. Each weekly challenge is "Anything Goes as long as it's CHRISTMAS" with an OPTIONAL theme, which this week is

"Make your own background "

I have had a little play today, had this idea in my head and give it a go! I've used a snowflake embossing folder but not for embossing....instead I inked it up with Versamark , lay a piece of black card on it and give it a good press. I then used embossing powder and my heat gun and ended up with quite a nice background of shiny snowflakes. It's not perfect but I like it! I've layered it up on white and red card and added a die cut "Merry Christmas".
