FEELING BRIGHT INSIDE

Good morning.
Here's my second card of the day and it's time for our new challenge at The Crafter's Cafe and our theme for the next fortnight is "Bright Colours with a Twist (inside) Card". This is all about making the front of your card quite plain and the inside a bright surprise!

MAKE IT SNAPPY CHRISTMAS CARDS

Good Morning!
It's mid-May and I've been AWOL. Back now (just about!) with my mid-month card for the monthly challenge over at Crafty Hazel Nuts Christmas Challenge Extra where the challenge as always is ANYTHING GOES!
Bugaboo DigiStamps is our regular sponsor. I've used one of their many sentiment stamps as my main image. This one is called "Make-it-snappy--Merry-Christmas-ornaments", which I've coloured in with Copics, and used Glossy Accents to highlight the coloured baubles. The backing paper is from Michele R Designs and I've added a few flat-backed pearls. Such a simple card to make, I made a few!

And here is the reason I've not been around for a while

This was our beautiful beast, Yoshi. Very sadly, we had to make the very difficult decision to have him put to sleep. He has in the past bitten me and my son a couple of times, but we had found excuses for his behaviour. A few weeks ago he bit my son's girlfriend, totally out of the blue, no excuses. So the decision was made. Totally heartbreaking. I'm crying again as I type. But I know deep down it was the right thing to do. He was a massive part of our lives for four short years, and he is missed every single day. Love you Yoshi-Moo x
