TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

Hi everyone.
I've been at the pencils again today! I've made this card to enter the challenges currently running in the Kit and Clowder group, where the theme is "At The Movies", and also the Saturated Canary Facebook challenge, which is "Anything Goes with Flower Power!".
I have used one of my favourite SC images called "Books and Bedhead" which I've coloured in with standard lead pencils (4H, HB and 6B) with a touch of colour from my Polychromos. I have printed a quote from my favourite film (and book) EVER...."To Kill A Mockingbird". I'm not sure where the background papers are from as they were kindly donated to me by a crafting buddy! The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts.
Hope you like it!

SPRING FLOWERS

Hi everyone.
It's time for a new challenge at The Crafter's Cafe and this week the theme is "Spring Flowers". Easy peasy!
Our sponsor for this challenge is A Day for Daisies
I have used "Daisy Girl" coloured in with Copics. The backing paper is from Michele R Designs "Cottage Garden Collection" and I've kept the embellishments simple...just a few flowers and gems.
Now it's over to you.....Spring into your flower stash and show us what you got!

MY STRONG ANCHOR

Hi everyone.
The lovely Krista is running a little challenge on her blog and here's my entry.
I have used Beach Pretty for my card, coloured in with Copics. As she looks a little bit like me ( I wish!) I decided to make my hubby a card for our anniversary. I've layered up papers from Michele R Designs "Seascape Collection", adding some burlap and cheesecloth. Simple embellie of a little anchor charm. The sentiment, also from the Seascape collection reads "You're My Strong Anchor" and that just about sums up my hubby.

RECIPE FUN AT THE CRAFTER'S CAFE

Hi everyone.
It's time for a new challenge at The Crafter's Cafe and this week, we are giving you a recipe. The challenge is to use one image, two designer papers, and three embellishments. Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Rick St Dennis
I have used Daffo Dil Fairy coloured in with Copics. And as this card is for my best friend, I've incorporated lots of things she loves. The papers are from Dovecraft "Curiosity Corner" collection; the main paper is just perfect for my friend....she loves tea and she sews. So that's my one image and two papers, and for my three embellishments I've used flowers (she loves daffs), a little ladybird, and some buttons (my friend also knits!). Hope you like it!
Now it's over to you.....cook something up with our recipe!

GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS AT CRAFTING FOR ALL SEASONS

Hi everyone.
It's new challenge time over at Crafting for all Seasons and the theme for the next fortnight is easy peasy "Girly Girls"! And we all love making girly cards, right?
Our sponsor for this challenge is Scrapper's Delights

and I have used their "Princess 3" image. I've coloured her in with Copics using my fave pinky combo (RV99,RV95, RV93 and RV91) for the dress. I've added a little Stickles to her crown....gotta have a bit of girly bling!
The paper and sentiment are from a HunkyDory magazine freebie, and I've finished the card off with some ribbon and lace and a few flowers from my stash.
Hope you like. Now it's over to you....go girly!

FROZEN IN MARCH

Hi everyone.
I'm here today with my DT card for Crafty Hazel Nuts Christmas Challenge Extra where, as always, we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.
I have used Chibi Elsa for my card, coloured with Copics and cut out with my new shiny Spellbinders snowflake die. I've layered her up onto background paper from Michele R Designs and because I hate waste, I've used the star off-cuts (from the sentiment) and added some Stickles so they're all nice and sparkly!
I hope you come and join us on this "Anything Goes" challenge! Get making those Christmas cards!
Hugs
